Abstract of Fatima Agnaou's Presentation Teaching Amazigh in Morocco: A Continuous Challenge The recent official integration of the Amazigh language into the Moroccan educational system is among the most major shifts in Morocco's approach to Amazigh identity. One of the primary goals of this presentation is to give an overview of Amazigh teaching in the context of current socio-political changes that have occurred in Morocco. The second goal is to address the challenges posed by the incorporation of Amazigh into the educational system. The data for this presentation is drawn from ministerial documents, fieldwork observations carried out in classrooms, and an analysis of Amazigh teaching material.
