Salma Lemtouni Bio
Salma Lemtouni received her undergraduate and medical education in Morocco. After moving to the United States in 1983, Dr. Lemtouni completed a residency in Family Practice and obtained a Master's Degree in Public Health at the University of Minnesota. For the past nine years, Dr. Lemtouni has worked with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in Maryland. For eight years she was a medical reviewer in the Division of Cardiovascular and Renal Products, transferring last year into the Office of Women's Health. Dr. Lemtouni previously worked as a Medical Oficer at Medtronic, Inc., as a Visiting Scientist at the National Cancer Center in Tokyo, Japan, and as a Fellow at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center/University of Washington.
